"A strange, comforting, and magical show that left me tremendously moved and deliriously hopeful."
— DC Metro Theatre Arts
NOW PLAYING in one secret location on the Lower East Side for audiences of only 5 people per show, every single Monday night.
Broken Bone Bathtub is an immersive theatre project conceived, performed, and directed by Siobhan O'Loughlin - in an actual bathtub.
After a serious bike accident, a young woman musters up the courage to ask for help, and shares her story, exploring themes of trauma, suffering, human generosity and connection. The audience takes on the role of Siobhan’s close friends; not only listening but sharing in their experiences, and assisting the cast-clad artist in the actual ritual of taking a bath.
Our show is currently ALL AGES, but at this time is not wheelchair accessible. Please email nyc@brokenbonebathtub.com to be on a list for our accessible venues.
Produced by Jason Rost. Sponsored in part by Soap Cherie of Williamsburg.
