About
Libby Larsen’s “Try Me, Good King” will be coupled with Ludwig van Beethoven’s “An die ferne Geliebte” (To the Distant Beloved), and the program will close with Franz Schubert’s famous “Der Hirt auf dem Felsen” (The Shepherd on the Rock), bringing together all performing forces to remind us that the Spring will surely come, even if the lonely and oppressing cold and darkness surround us now.
