In 1957, Eugene Ionesco, one of the first absurdist playwrights in theatre history, wrote a play about Naziism, from a post-war perspective. Originally penned in French, it follows an ordinary citizen named Berenger (B for short) as they try to save their radiant city from a senseless, motiveless killer. B is the first citizen to visit with the perseverance, and motivation to STOP HIM.
