The City Reliquary Museum is a not-for-profit community museum and civic organization located in Williamsburgh, Brooklyn. Since 2002, the Museum has cast a loving light on the seemingly ordinary people and objects that make New York great. Through a permanent display of New York City artifacts, rotating exhibits, and annual cultural events, The City Reliquary connects visitors to both the past and present of New York.
Civic-minded people and history lovers are the
backbone of our Museum, providing the financial support for our exhibitions, collections, and
community-centered public programming. Your support advances our mission of connecting visitors to both the past
and present of New York. Support us today and become a part of
a uniquely civic and community-focused organization!
We are very grateful for general donations. Sponsorship gifts starting at the $250 level support our upcoming exhibitions, public programs, and special events.
$250 supports a one-night event in our museum
, such as one of our upcoming "Civic Virtues Winter Series" events featuring local talents, symposiums, and film screenings all focused on the core values of being a diverse New Yorker.
$500 will provide for educational public programs
that correspond to one of our three seasonal exhibitions, such as the upcoming film screening of Modern Ruin: A World's Fair Pavilion at the closing reception for our fall 2016 New York State Pavilion exhibition
. $1,000 will allow us to host exhibits in our front room Project Space
, such as a commemoration of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire this March.
$5,000 will help us mount one of three seasonal exhibitions in the coming year
, such as "Knishes of New York," our winter 2017 show curated by Laura Silver, author of Knish: In Search of the Jewish Soul Food
. ***All sponsors will receive a complimentary Havemeyer-level membership to the museum. Sponsors at the $5,000 level will also be credited in exhibition press releases and promotional materials.***
